Super Bowl Sunday Dominates Online Marketing

Every year the Super bowl comes around and it’s all you ever learn about. From a girl who knows zilch about sports and could really care less about sports; I become invested in the Super Bowl. Why? Because, the people who promote the Super Bowl, no matter who is playing in it, use their online reputation to dominate the media markets with their web marketing. The two biggest media hot spots I fell they dominate the most is their TV marketing and online marketing.

The TV marketing is obvious; the Super Bowl is advertised on every commercial like the Golden Globe Awards. It got to a point a few years in the past that I didn’t want to watch TV during the week of the Super Bowl because ever commercial was about the Super Bowl. That’s how good their TV marketing is; their web marketing, I feel is a little more subtle but even more alluring. Not all marketing is bombarding you with strait on commercials like TV advertising. They also use TV and internet teasers to give hint to the Super Bowl commercials on YouTube; another picture on the change of times and technology for you.

The Super Bowl is more than just two football teams playing for a championship and is pertinent to more than just sport’s fans in general; it’s also the Super Bowl for the pop Entertainment Media as well. In 2011, the top ten Google searches were Chrysler 200, Christina Aguilera National Anthem Super Bowl, Sweet Child O’ Mine, Black eyed Peas Halftime Show, Star Spangled Banner Lyrics, 2011 Beetle, Slash, Medal Of Honor Recipients, GoDaddy.com, Is Fergie Pregnant.

Notice anything? These hunts looked, on the outside, that they had absolutely nothing to do with that year’s Super Bowl, yet they all had links to ads to that year’s Super Bowl as did the year’s prier. Why? Because The Super Bowl is no longer for just football or Sports fans, it has a wider clientele then just that one media market.

The Super Bowl now tries to gain all media clientele no matter their interest, particularly the pop media entertainment market. It’s the reason why the Super Bowl half time shows get more showy as the years go on. This is why these searches brought up links and ads for the 2011 Super Bowl.

These were searches for music, lyrics, musicians, cars, websites, heroes and gossip; drugs to feed America’s growing entertainment addiction. And with its now expanded market they must change their online marketing and types of marketing they use. So they turned to the internet and they’re half time shows and sponsor to accomplish this.

The Giants Dont Need Online Marketing Or Social Media Management, They Have Eli Manning!

The world of Football has been turned upside down and inside out! The New York Football Giants are headed once again to the Superbowl to do battle with a new arch nemesis, the New England Patriots! With this post season being a huge accomplishment for big blue, their social media management and online marketing have been thru the roof in a crusade for the coveted Lombardi Trophy!

Bring the Lombardi Trophy home boys, New York is where it belongs! With this extremely well managed post season behind us, and Eli taking a trip to big brothers home city, Indianapolis, to combat non other than Tom Brady, Peyton’s arch nemesis as well. Since 2001, it’s been Peyton chiefly who’s had the numbers, but it’s been Brady who’s won the rings and beaten Peyton at his own game. The thing is, this season, Peyton has been out and a big spot light and question mark hung over Eli Manning’s head.

Man oh man has little brother proven to the world that big brothers shadow is silly. The Giants season had rested completely upon his shoulders, with all of the injuries that had plagued both the offense and defense, Eli Manning stood like a beacon of hope in the eyes of both players, and fans alike, and he stood tall and true. With the help of wide receivers and tight ends such as Victor Cruz (an Instant fan favorite, especially with his copyrighted Salsa dance) Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham, Bear Pascoe, Jake Ballard, and Travis Beckum, and the return of Ahmad Bradshaw, and Brandon Jacobs doing what he does best, it’s really no surprise.

There are still noted Giants injuries headed into the Superbowl, for instance defensive backs Terrell Thomas, and Justin Tryon, two important starters that have been out all season. Jonathan Goff has also been out all season, as well as Clint Sintim at line backer. As well the loss of tackle Will Beaty has been hard to swallow, but David Diehl and Kareem McKenzie have done a great job so far at protecting their Quarterback Eli Manning. As well another issue is concerning center David Baas, and his injury concerns and whether or not guard Kevin Boothe will be able to take his place if needed during the Superbowl.

Adore them, or loath them, the New York Football Giants have done what no other team that has been this injured has been able to do. Win their division at 9-7, go on a success streak, beat teams like the Atlanta Falcons, Green bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers to make it to the rematch of the century in Superbowl 46. This season has rested on the shoulders of Eli Manning, and astonishing Giants coach Tom Coughlin, and both have come thru for Big Blue in the end to get us to a place that only one other 9-7 team has been able to do. Here comes the Superbowl!

Svetlana Aleksandrovna Kuznetsova was given birth on June 27, 1985 in St Petersburg. She is a Russian professional player in tennis. Kuznetsova is an all-around player as she has adapted her game to all surfaces. Her play is characterized by her strong serve and her heavy forehand. Kuznetsova’s serve is assisted by her strong physique and she is often regarded as one of many physically strongest players in the Tour along with Venus and Serena Williams. Lots of tennis experts say that her strong inside-out forehand is among the very best in the women’s play. Kuznetsova is competent at hitting winners of both wings. The Constitutional Case For Legal Sports Betting

Though legal sports betting is prohibited in the US by Federal law, there has been in recent years a re-examination of its logic on a variety of levels. Part of this is a desire for new revenue sources, while part is simply a growing acceptance of gambling in all forms. Ultimately, the true injustice of banning sports betting lies in its contempt for the Constitution.

The Congress of the United States has shown very little respect for the Constitution in recent years. Were it to abide strictly by the role outlined for it by the founding fathers, the Legislative Branch of our government would have to relinquish any number of its powers in a variety of areas. The primary problem with our Congress is that it has increasingly become a collection of career politicians rather than a body representative of its constituency. Every increase in power at the Federal level must be brought about by a usurpation of state and local sovereignty and, more alarmingly, personal liberty.

The Federal prohibition of sports wagering which was enacted a few years back is of very dubious Constitutionality. Were it not for the grandfather clause, which allowed it to remain legal in jurisdictions in which it already existed, it would have certainly been struck down as unconstitutional on a number of different fronts. Ironically, the Nevada gaming industry wasnt too concerned at the passage of this law; indeed, they certainly liked the fact that they could go about business as usual while potential competition from other states for the sports wagering dollar was completely curtailed.

The mere fact that a proposed law or initiative is unconstitutional offers no protection for the citizenry. If a politician can suggest that a law is for ‘the children’ many will swallow the bait hook line and sinker. In many cases such prohibitive legislation contradicts one of the most important concepts in the Constitution–that of the right to sovereignty and self-determination of the individual states:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Under the 10th Amendment, unless the power in question has been expressly given to the Federal government by the Constitution, and/or unless it has expressly been prohibited to the states to govern as it sees fit. If an individual state chooses not to regulate a certain activity, it is the right of each individual citizen to make their own decision.

So, you should be asking yourself at this point, where exactly does the Constitution delegate to the Federal government the right to make policy on sports gambling? The answer is that it doesnt, and it is very questionable that they have the Constitutional authority to do so. The sanctimonious blowhards who oppose sports betting would like to think they know best, but fortunately for all freedom loving Americans the founding fathers would beg to differ.

The entire premise of a social contract between a government and the governed is that individuals give up a certain degree of personal liberty for a certain degree of protection. The problem is that too many Americans are willing to give up just about any freedom for even the illusory promise of protection. If theyre not personally willing to cede this freedom, theyre often indifferent or unconcerned about it. The danger to broader concepts of personal liberty may seem a million miles away, but with each additional law intended to protect us from this or that the Federal government becomes larger and more powerful and the rights of the sovereign states”and the individuals that comprise them”are shrinking and being weakened.
