Which Affiliate Marketing Company Should I Use?

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

Just starting out and not sure which affiliate company to begin promoting? Nothing will likely be a bigger influence on the direction you take as an affiliate marketer. There are alot of options and differences between the major companies. This makes picking one something of a difficult task. However, the more you know about what’s out there the better choice you’ll be able to make for the direction of your new company. Here’s some info on what I believe are the top affiliate marketing companies:

4. Ebay
Of course you’ve heard of Ebay and of course you know that it is the most popular online auction site and has been for a decade. What many people don’t know is that Ebay relies heavily on their affiliate program to bring in new buyers and sellers. Even though Ebay is a free service, which means you won’t have to sell a product, they still pay their affiliates fairly well. You’ll make a commission on the sales and purchases of your referrals so you could make some nice money. While everyone has heard of Ebay there are still tons of people out there who are not signed up and don’t know how Ebay can work for them. Educate those poeple, get them to sign up and make some good money.

3. Amazon
Right near the top of the online shopping world with Ebay, is Amazon. Amazon sells thousands of products and they undersell most other online retail websites. Unlike Ebay’s affiliate program, Amazon’s goal is to get customers to buy Amazon products. Commissions range from 10-20% and they have a number of promotional tools for your site so it would be a good idea to consider them in your affiliate marketing pursuits.

2. Commision Junction
Ready to start selling the big ticket items? Commission Junction is for you then. With CJ you’ll be selling some of the most popular products on the internet such as LCD TVs, high end stereo systems and much more. The commissions on these items are great but your probably won’t make as many sales as you will with Amazon or Ebay. It may be tough for beginners to start out with Commission Junction but you may want to consider it after you have your business up and running smoothly.

1. ClickBank
ClickBank is number one in the affiliate marketing world by a good margin. ClickBank is very accessible to beginners and there are hundreds of resources and tools available to build and market your business with a ClickBank foundation. ClickBank specializes is the promotion of digital products which are delivered online via download such as ebooks and software. The commissions can be up to 50% of the sale price of the item. With many of the products you make as much as $20-$35 per sale. A couple of those a day and you can be making a significant income.

How To Create A Mini Site That Runs On Autopilot And Makes You Money While You Sleep!

Friday, June 20th, 2008

Most Internet marketers understand that having mini sites is the fastest and easiest way to make money online. They don’t require a lot of time, energy, or money to set up, and once you’ve got one up and running, you can sit back and just collect money from all the sales you’re making.

At least… that’s how it’s supposed to be, right?

The truth is that mini sites really ARE easy to set up. They really DON’T require much time, energy, and money to set up. So why is it that so few people actually make money with their mini sites?

The answer is that they never learned how to actually turn their mini site into a profitable moneymaker that runs completely on autopilot. The good news is…

Here’s what this is all about: My colleague Michael Rasmussen has just released a brand new video course that will walk you through the process of creating a killer mini site from the ground up, and then he’ll also teach you how to actually start making money with it right away and into the future.

If you’ve been looking for help with monetizing your mini sites, then this is exactly what you need. The best part? The videos are FREE! I’ll tell you more about that later. First, let’s talk about the videos themselves.

If you’re in a hurry, you can just check the videos out right now for free. Here’s the URL:

It’s important to note that these are online videos that you access from your web browser. Michael uses Camtasia Studio to create these videos, which is the premier software program for creating screen capture tutorials such as these.

The first thing I noticed when I hit the play button on the first video was the incredible production quality. These are NOT your ordinary screen capture videos. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone make videos that are this high quality before.

He uses beautifully created graphics to pass his wisdom along to you, and the sound quality is the highest you will ever hear in an Internet marketing product. They sound like they were recorded in a professional studio.

Michael explained to me that he was sick and tired of seeing all the low quality videos out there, and so he set out to create something different in order to raise the bar in our industry. I think that, when you see Mini Site Profits Exposed for yourself, you’ll agree that he has succeeded.

Now let’s move onto…

Protect Yourself From Identity Theft With RoboForm

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

RoboForm may be one of the most useful, time saving tools I’ve found to date on the internet. I can’t count the number of times I’ve lost or forgotten a username or password to a site that I needed access to. Nothing is a bigger pain. RoboForm eliminates that problem. It remembers all of your passwords and enters them automatically when you need them. All you have to do is remember one main password that you enter at the beginning of the day. Once that password is entered, RoboForm takes care of the rest. It’s a huge time saver! It’s amazing how much smoother things go when the sites you need are logged in a ready to go at the press of a button. RoboForm creates a Login list similar to a “Favorites” list in your browser. When you want to get logged in to a site, simply click the site on the list and RoboForm loads the site and logs you in automatically. Incredibly slick.

RoboForm even remembers other pertinent information about you such as address, phone numbers, etc. It makes entering forms for online shopping lightning quick.

So, I know you are asking “what about security?” I was wondering the same thing when I first starting using it. RoboForm completely encrypts your passwords so they simply cannot be accessed without your key. Plus it has a password generator that generates super-strong passwords that no-one could ever guess. For example, instead of using your birthday (or something else easy to guess) as the password for your bank account, RoboForm will generate a password like 90tLy$xzS. Let some hacker try to crack that. And of course, RoboForm remembers it for you. You can even transfer your encrypted password file to a USB flash memory stick for use on multiple computers. It automatically syncs up with no install required.

Another great feature is that there is a totally FREE version. Download and try it out FREE. You can even keep a limited version and continue using it for FREE after the 30 day trial.
