Just starting out and not sure which affiliate company to begin promoting? Nothing will likely be a bigger influence on the direction you take as an affiliate marketer. There are alot of options and differences between the major companies. This makes picking one something of a difficult task. However, the more you know about what’s out there the better choice you’ll be able to make for the direction of your new company. Here’s some info on what I believe are the top affiliate marketing companies:

4. Ebay
Of course you’ve heard of Ebay and of course you know that it is the most popular online auction site and has been for a decade. What many people don’t know is that Ebay relies heavily on their affiliate program to bring in new buyers and sellers. Even though Ebay is a free service, which means you won’t have to sell a product, they still pay their affiliates fairly well. You’ll make a commission on the sales and purchases of your referrals so you could make some nice money. While everyone has heard of Ebay there are still tons of people out there who are not signed up and don’t know how Ebay can work for them. Educate those poeple, get them to sign up and make some good money.

Ready to start selling the big ticket items? Commission Junction is for you then. With CJ you’ll be selling some of the most popular products on the internet such as LCD TVs, high end stereo systems and much more. The commissions on these items are great but your probably won’t make as many sales as you will with Amazon or Ebay. It may be tough for beginners to start out with Commission Junction but you may want to consider it after you have your business up and running smoothly.

1. ClickBank
ClickBank is number one in the affiliate marketing world by a good margin. ClickBank is very accessible to beginners and there are hundreds of resources and tools available to build and market your business with a ClickBank foundation. ClickBank specializes is the promotion of digital products which are delivered online via download such as ebooks and software. The commissions can be up to 50% of the sale price of the item. With many of the products you make as much as $20-$35 per sale. A couple of those a day and you can be making a significant income.

It’s important to note that these are online videos that you access from your web browser. Michael uses Camtasia Studio to create these videos, which is the premier software program for creating screen capture tutorials such as these.

The first thing I noticed when I hit the play button on the first video was the incredible production quality. These are NOT your ordinary screen capture videos. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone make videos that are this high quality before.

RoboForm may be one of the most useful, time saving tools I’ve found to date on the internet. I can’t count the number of times I’ve lost or forgotten a username or password to a site that I needed access to. Nothing is a bigger pain. RoboForm eliminates that problem.
